Bintan - Paradise 45 minutes away
Sedona's Bintan Lagoon Golf and Beach Resort is an excellent example of the myriad of activities and facilities that are on the island. Covering more than 300 hectares are luxurious villas, two 18-hole golf courses, and a 416-room resort hotel that boasts of all the facilities you would expect from a top Sedona hotel.
The resort's two championship golf courses are undoubtedly major attractions for golfers looking for challenging and beautiful courses to pit their skills. The courses were designed by renowned golfing legends Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch, who between them have created 2 of the finest courses in Asia. The Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course features beautifully sculptured bunkers and water hazards on 13 of the holes, with the signature holes being 12 and 13. Hole 12, a par 3, has a stunning backdrop of the South China Sea while hole 13 has a unique split green, as one of the streams on the course runs through the middle.
The Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course features bunkers that are deep and difficult, but the fronts of the greens are open so that players can roll the balls into the greens. The course is spread over undulating natural lanscape, so to score well, a player must hit shots from a wide variety of lies to a wide variety of greens settings. Other golfing facilities at Bintan Lagoon include a 31-bay driving range, practice green, pro-shop, golf bag storage, and clubs and shoes rental.
