Bintan - Paradise 45 minutes away

Beautiful Bintan sunset   Located a mere 45 minutes from Singapore by ferry, the Indonesian island of Bintan provides the perfect weekend getaway from our land-scarce city state. In the same time it'll take you to drive across Singapore from East to West, you can make the short trip to Bintan and discover the tranquil beaches, modern resorts, internationally designed golf courses and much more.

Sedona's Bintan Lagoon Golf and Beach Resort is an excellent example of the myriad of activities and facilities that are on the island. Covering more than 300 hectares are luxurious villas, two 18-hole golf courses, and a 416-room resort hotel that boasts of all the facilities you would expect from a top Sedona hotel.

Deluxe roomEvery deluxe room and suite comes with its own private balcony and spectacular ocean or scenic views, ensuring that you'll always wake up to a breathtaking sight.

Private villaAnd if you have a little more to splurge on, indulge in a private villa and comes complete with a personal pool and up to 3,500 square feet of sheer luxury.

The resort's two championship golf courses are undoubtedly major attractions for golfers looking for challenging and beautiful courses to pit their skills. The courses were designed by renowned golfing legends Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch, who between them have created 2 of the finest courses in Asia. The Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course features beautifully sculptured bunkers and water hazards on 13 of the holes, with the signature holes being 12 and 13. Hole 12, a par 3, has a stunning backdrop of the South China Sea while hole 13 has a unique split green, as one of the streams on the course runs through the middle.

Beautiful and challenging course

The Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course features bunkers that are deep and difficult, but the fronts of the greens are open so that players can roll the balls into the greens. The course is spread over undulating natural lanscape, so to score well, a player must hit shots from a wide variety of lies to a wide variety of greens settings.

Other golfing facilities at Bintan Lagoon include a 31-bay driving range, practice green, pro-shop, golf bag storage, and clubs and shoes rental.

One of Asia There are various golf packages to suit your needs. A typical weekday package includes unlimited rounds of golf, caddy and buggy for the first 18 holes, 2-way ferry and land transfers and as well as all golf bag handling charges - all for just S$105 per person. For just $50 more, you can spend the night in a deluxe room at Hotel Sedona after a hard day's golfing.  Prices for weekends and public holidays are slightly different.
