If someone tells you that there's a dearth of art in Singapore, then it's probably because he or she doesn't know where to look. There are, at last count, 10 major art galleries and a similar number of art and history museums around. Most of the art galleries listed below hold regular exhibitions where you can view and buy art, in addition to the big art auctions, usually held at hotels.
