Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay - a formidable triumvirate when it comes to after hours entertainment in Singapore. Ever since the phrase "alfresco dining by the river" was coined, these three quays have been transformed into entertainment hubs with pubs and restaurants of every persuasion lining the Singapore River. Very popular with expatriates and professionals from the nearby office buildings, as accountants and bankers rub shoulders with yuppies and college kids.
One of the main things you will notice about pub-crawling in Singapore is that you never have to go far to reach a new "pocket" of bars since many of the nightlife hubs are connected. Cross the bridge at the end of Boat Quay and you will find yourself at Clarke Quay. Continue walking to the end of Clarke Quay and you will find yourself just across the road from the party atmosphere of Mohamed Sultan and the more serene Robertson Quay
