Documents Required

(1) Spouse or child of a SC/SPR

a) 1 set of completed Form 4 (an original) obtainable at the PR Services Centre. You may also download the form. Applicant is required to complete Part A to Part E and Part H and local sponsor to complete Part F, Part G and Part I of the application form (Form 4).(You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to read and print the form. Download may take a while.);

b) Applicant's original travel documents (old and new) and photocopies for pages that reflect personal particulars, official descriptions and Singapore Immigration endorsements.

c) Applicant's and sponsor's Identity Cards.

d) Sponsor's travel document (old and new).

e) Sponsor's Singapore Citizenship Certificate, if any.

f) A letter from sponsor's employer giving the date of employment, position held, monthly salary for the last 6 months (with breakdown into basic, overtime and allowance per month) and monthly CPF contributions for the last 6 months.

g) A statement from the CPF Board showing sponsor's monthly CPF contributions (member's contribution history) for the last 12 months.

h) Sponsor's Income Tax Notices of Assessment (original and one photocopy) for the last 3 years.

i) Sponsor's valid Business Registration Certificate (original and one photocopy) from the Instant Information Service, Registry of Companies and Businesses, and valid Vocational Licence, if applicable.

j) Sponsor's Birth Certificate/Citizenship Certificate. And applicant's Birth Certificate and Household Census List.

k) Applicant's official Marriage Certificate (original and one photocopy).

l) Divorce or Death Certificate (original and one photocopy) in respect of your sponsor's or your previous marriage(s) and Custody Papers (original and one photocopy) for your sponsor's or your children, if any.

m) Official Birth Certificate of children (original and one photocopy) showing both parent's and the child's name.

n) Sponsor's and applicant's educational certificates (original and one photocopy).

o) Deed Poll or Change-of-Name Certificate of applicant and sponsor (if any) .

p) Original and a photostated copy of items (f) to (o) are required. Original documents will be returned after sighting. Official translations of these items are required if they are not in the English Language.

Husband of a Singaporean Woman

A Singaporean woman may sponsor her husband for permanent residence. Each application will be considered on its own merits. Besides the documents mentioned above, the applicant must also furnish item (f) to (i) pertaining to himself. Two copies of the Form 4A instead of the Form 4 are to be submitted (1 original and 1 photostated copy).

Applicant will have to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary

(3) Valid Employment Pass (P or Q Pass) Holder

a) If you are a Professional (eg. a local degree holder) or a Civil Servant, you will need to submit 2 duly completed Form 4A (an original and one photocopied). Other Employment Pass holders are required to submit 3 duly completed copies of Form 4A.

b) Original travel documents/affidavits and photocopies of pages that reflect personal particulars, official descriptions and Singapore Immigration endorsements.

c) Identity Card, if applicable.

d) Work Pass

e) Professional membership certificates and all vocational trade certificates ( for graduates, two photocopies of degree certificates/diploma are required ).

f) Official Marriage Certificate.

g) Official household census list or family register, if applicable.

h) Testimonials from previous employers stating the nature and duration of employment and also the last drawn salary.

i) Education certificates and Identity Card of spouse.

j) Official Birth Certificates of applicant and spouse.

k) Official Birth Certificates of children showing both parents and the child's names.

l) Death Certificate or Divorce Certificate and the Custody Papers for the children in respect of applicant/spouse's previous marriage, if any.

m) CPF Statement on the past 12 months' contributions and Income Tax Notice of Assessment for the last 3 years, where applicable.

n) A male applicant can include his wife and unmarried children (below 21 years old) in his application. On the other hand, a female applicant can only include her unmarried children (below 21 years old). Her husband will have to apply for permanent residence on his own merits.

o) Original and a photostated copy of items (b) to (m) are required. Original documents will be returned after sighting. Official translations of these items are required if they are not in the English Language.

Applicant will have to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
(4) Investors / Entrepreneur

Applicable to foreign investors with substantial capital and good entrepreneurial track records. Such foreigners may apply for permanent residence under the S$1.5 million Deposit Scheme.
