When I use hair gel, people ask me if I am losing my hair.  When I dont, no such question.  Does hair gel exaggerate the hair loss look??

It does becuase it makes the hair stick together and thus gaps appear. Similat problem myself, but i stopped using after Miami Vice ended the series in the 90's. I think you stop using hair gel, it is 2003!

Come on, gel is always in.  You're referring to the AquaNet hairspray craze of the 1980s.

Some days, my hair is just unmanageable.

I can't manage my look without the stuff - I  use the same brand as Ben Stiller in Something About Mary.
