Cafe Iguana is a bit too trendy for me.

Cha Cha Cha comes the closest to my local Mexican-run hole in the wall back in the states. It's in Holland Village across from Wala Wala.  Not great, but the closest I've found to authentic.  Flautas. chimichangas and chalupas were good.

The food at Cafe Iguana tastes like crap.
I would not even call it Mexican Food.

Cha Cha Cha has passable Mexican food.
The refried beans taste like they are fresh out of a can, but most of the food is quite good and is the closest to Tex Mex that I have found so far in Singapore.  The staff is also attentive and polite.

The best I've found so far in Asia is Margarita's. Try it, you'll like it.

yup, margarita's is good and the staff is super nice. cha cha cha, not bad, just different. just DO NOT accidentally go to the mex place right next to it-- poco loco or something like that. very BAD.
