so - for what its worth - i don't know any ring shops here - but if he asked you in Singapore then get one here because it will then always remind you of where he asked you rather than just some place you went shopping - call me an old romantic but got engaged when I was too young and too broke to get something I really wanted but 7 years on my £100 ring still looks really beautiful - and I would never swap it for anything else - still only 3 years till the 10 years anniversary and i'm already dropping big hints about the shop with the nicest bags - tiffany's !

We been married for 4 years, got engaged in South Africa.Having seen all of the lovely engagement and wedding rings here I think I like to do it again.My thoughts would be look around in Singapore,golds very nice here.Maybe ten years from now you would think back to Singapore and the wonderful times you guys have had,just by looking at the ring.

Hey!!!!!  I got my ring!!!!! But I didn't have the privilege of picking it out...He got it from Soo Kee jewelry and surprised me one nite with it..white gold, diamond and such a lovely avantgarde design as well...Would be worth going there to have a look.  I think Soo Kee has an outlet in Takashimaya
