"Shavers Only" outlets are meant to let you know that they're only rated for a low power output. If you tried plugging in a hair dryer, curling iron, etc., it would probably trip a breaker.

No it wont  Cheesy    Its is not a low power outlet !  Its 240 volts.

A shaver outlet is an isolation transformer with no earth on the output side.  That's why you have 2 pins only. Don't mess with this or try anything silly.

It says "Shavers Only"  because shavers are double insulated appliances and are safe to use on an unearthed supply and that's all you can use in a moist environment as a bathroom.

Don't try to do anything stupid by using adaptors as a fix to allow you to run a 3 pin appliance from this outlet.

It says Shavers Only on it for very good reason.

note: you do not have to buy them at my website, however, you can read reviews etc and make a decision to buy a specific model at your local store.
