I am thinking about getting VOLO Maclaren for our second stroller  for 20mos toddler as I am tired of pushing the big one now. However. I'm a bit concerned it does not recline at all. Do you think it'd be uncomfotable when the child falls asleep? She does not take nap in the stroller often but would like to consider that before buying.I also would like to hear good/bad poits about this stroller. Thanks!

I don't suppose it's any worse than when a child  falls asleep in a car seat while out for a ride. So long as you don't leave her to sleep in it all day or anything, it's probably ok. We have a volo - it's very lightweight and easy to get around with. The meshy material is nice for the heat - I think it helps keep the child a bit cooler. You can also buy an accessory pack for the volo that includes a sun canopy, rain sheild and quilted seat cover. All-in-all, it's a really good stroller.

Occassionally toddler falls asleep.  Looks uncomfortable to me but then she is asleep so it can't be THAT bad!

I don't have a Volo, but an umbrella stroller with a similar incline. I've found that though my son does start napping in it, he tends to wake up sooner and more cranky than if he's in the other stroller which reclines more. The crankiness makes me feel that he isn't particularly comfortable.

Thank you for your replies!Humm, maybe I should go to the shop and compare with other Maclaren stroller, like Triumph which has 2postions reclining..I really like the mesh seat and the light weight of VOLO, just the reclining thing doesn't sound too good.

Next time you fly, try napping with the seat in the full upright and locked position. Then try napping with the seat fully reclined (for best results, try business class or first class).

Now tell me, which was the more comfortable and restful situation?

If you can answer that, I think you can answer the question that's been posted.

Toddlers are different from adults..when they are really tired, they can sleep anywhere in any condition. That is why OP is asking people what they think. Furthermore, strollers that can recline are normally meant to be for newborns and generally big and heavy. Would you get that kind of stroller for 20month old???
