May I ask how the 2 of you cope with childcare while you work?

I have an acquantance arriving in a  couple of months & I was wondering how I could help him with making arrangements for his 6yr old. The problem is he is staying only for 4-6 months!

Would appreciate any help & suggestions.

Thanks
Pat

Hi,

I sometimes get the impression i'm the only single expat mum in singapore. Everyone seems so settled!! I had alot of difficulties in the beginning but i worked it out with my boss so i work half day and pick up my son after school. It's hard work but possible. They don't seem to have anything for single parents out here..... like i said i doubt there are many of us!
