Would love a wooden height chart for the nursery, one that's going to last. Has anybody any ideas where I could buy one from.

I saw them in Motherworks in Great World, together with a good range of wooden toys from KIDSWOOD brand, they are from Denmark.  Also try Tanglin Mall, Attic Pals on the 2nd floor.

I am glad the OP has a recommendation for these. I am just posting to say how much pleasure such a simple item will give both you and your children over the years. All my kids' heights are marked on each birthday, they and I love to look back how small they were, how much they've grown since last time etc. It is a lovely expat equivalent of notches on the doorframe!
