ovulation kits

[just wondering]

Hi
I was wondering if anybody has had experiences using the ovulation kits you can buy at the chemist. Good or bad I would like to know. We have been trying for a while now and thought we could do with a bit of help! Have looked at the ones here which are very expensive. A friend has said they can send from the UK but I thought I would ask for advice from the trusty board members first.!!

I've just bought one.  It was very expensive and I'm not completely convinced about it.  I have a 33+ day cycle and it had the peak fertile display on day 15 of my cycle.  I got pregnant on day 19 last time.

Hi I’ve tried the clear plan one and am not convinced either. I never seemed to get a clear result so was never sure exactly when the peak was (it could have been anyone of 3 days the results all looked the same to me). On the plus side they show there is a peak so you are ovulating but don't expect to pin point the actual day. I'm still not pregnant. Frustrating isn’t it.

I buy them online, and they cost about a dollar a piece, as compared to about ten dollars a piece.

So long as your cycles are not wildly irregular, you should at least be able to narrow down to 2 or 3 days which is better than guessing. I have a sister in law who swears by them. Good luck!
