We are moving to Singapore in a month's time and we have 2 children aged 3 and 4 respectively. The problem is, they are first timers at school and very shy by nature. We are trying to choose between  Canadian school and Tanglin Trust. Can anyone give us some good advice?

gee thanks. Can you please elaborate? Having read many raving reports about both schools,I am sure they are both excellent choices. As mentioned earlier, my children are really quite young so I am not worried about the curriculum (Brit or not), rather, I am concerned about the attitude of the staffs ( are they loving, tolerant... etc), the class size etc.Given it's their first stint at school, I hope to make the transition less traumatic.

You need to walk around the school for yourself to get a 'feel' for it.  What might suit one family might not suit another.  I do have 1st hand experience of Tanglin and for us it was just the right place.  The kids are happy and motivated and have made friends easily.  It is a very popular school and there is usually a waiting list for the Infant dept so if you decide on this one, you need to get on the waiting list a.s.o.p.
