Anyone know of where to buy decent shoes for a toddler ---that are wide?  ("W" width)

I've tried several shops and his feet are too wide for the standard shoes available.

Help!

I would recommend either Clarks or Start-rite shoes (Outlets in Tanglin Mall and in Holland Village Shopping Centre). Take your child along and he/she will have the feet width specifically measured and be allocated widths from A to H . My son has a H fitting ( the widest!) and although we have had to order the shoes ( they don't hold a huge range) they fit beautifully!
I have also bought Birkenstocks as they come in a  very wide fitting too.
Be warned, all the above don't come cheap!

Thanks!

Yeah, cheap would be nice, but our first priority is something that's decent and actually fits!  With this little boy's wide feet that may always be an impossible dream..

So, we'll have an outing to Holland V or Tanglin this weekend -- thanks so much!

Same Boat -

Just checked the phone book and can't find the stores -- would you mind telling me either more or less where (the Holland V) shoe stores are or the store names?

Sorry!  Thanks very much

Boutique Nicole in Tanglin have some wide fittings but may not be wide enough for your little guy. Again not a cheap option, but wide feet never have the cheap option (mydaughter used to be a G fitting)

Took the easy route (hey, with a two year old, one needs to!) and stopped by Batas -- got some bubble gummers which fit beautifully. Thanks everyone!!!
