Does it cover the whole body with small spots sometimes?

We have what we thought was HFM, but now a rash has covered her head to toe.

Our pre-school principal told us there were 17 strains of HFM. Yikes! It's horrible. I empathise.

You can get spots on the buttocks as well as the obvious hand, feet and mouth.

A rash from head to toe definately warrants a quick trip up to your doc today.
