hmmm I think around 3 months, or maybe closer to 5 months.....basically when they can either burp themselves or if you don't burp they don't scream in agony or throw up milk 15 mins after a feed.

am mum of 2 but sorry can't remember exactly.

I did it until they were on solids around 4-6 months. Then they can sit up themselves and get the air out then. Once on solids they tend to get it out a much easier too.
