School

[New joinner]

Hello,
I will move to Singapore with in one month.
Finally I got admission for my dauther (99, Dec) to join in OFS from August.
Because I didn't visited any other school,
some regrets like not sure whether this school is good or not, than other Internaltional schools with programs or other facilities. They have lunch and nap time for one and a half hour, we don't have such time for kids in school here.
Are all other school same.
Yes I have read other opinions in "Expat Singpaore' about schools but still .....

Can anybody give me cheers like you choose good school OR give some suggestions for next school year.
Without SAS and UWC, which is next?

Sorry I know it is already over that I registered but I think still have chance for next year to change school.

Hope your move to Singapore goes smoothly!

My daughter started at OFS in April in the half day PreK programme and will be in K1 in August.

I did look at other schools before choosing OFS, and am happy with the decision I made. I know it isn't a "trust" and that its buildings are pretty old looking (not as bad as Chatsworth IMHO). I love the feel of open space, the IB curriculum, class size, ECA opportunities, and sense of family evident in the Kinder school.
