My nephew didn't speak until he's 3.  The problem was the helper speak tagalog, the mom talks to him in chinese, the dad wants to speak in english, the child was confused.  Try to talk to your son in one language only.

My second son was a late talker compared to my first who talked almost from the day he was born.  Problem was, number two couldn't get a word in!  He had no need to talk as he was being entertained by No. 1 all the time.  They have grown up to be so different in almost every way as well, but have their own special talents which is nice too.  By the way, number two never shuts up now!

I am not trying to induce fears, but I suggest you consult a doctor soon.

My son was late in everything, talking, walking, communicating.

After consulting four doctors, we found out that he is austistic.
