My 8-month old baby has been having rectal bleeding whenever she poops.  We suspect it started when she had solids, and have adjusted her solids down till she's not taking anything except fruits (minimal) and milk.  Yet the problem persists.

In the beginning, the bleeding was caused by hard stools, but now even with soft stools, the entire area will bleed.  She cries everything she poops but will be okay after we console her.

I'm worried and will be bringing her to see a doctor later on but will like to know if someone else has had a similar case or know of such problems.

GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW, Do Not Wait!!!  Get expert advice if there is bleeding, especially if it is fresh blood. I pray that all will be well.  I'm sorry to panic you but your situation requires immediate medical attention, especially the child is under 1 year.
