My 3 year old wants his brother (14 months) to start sharing his room. They are sleeping well in their respective rooms. They are extremely close so I guess he thinks it will be a novelty. I was planning to do it around 2 anyway but has anyone done this and got any pros or cons - especially taking into account the baby's age now. Thanks

Did it with my older two at about the same age. As long as you have a good night time routine and back up plan if it doesn't work at 3am (portacot in another room) it should be fine. BTW it only worked for night sleeps. Daytime naps had to be conducted in separate rooms. Good luck.
