My daughter has just started staying for lunch at school. I am sending her lunch and looking for the small lunch boxes that come with an ice brick inside.

I have tried Spotlight - they have a really big one, far too big for 5 year old. Also looked at Carrefour at the Lock and Store range but no luck.

Any one seen them in SIngapore ?

Storage at Parkway Parade sells the Decor brand ones.  I generally use a frozen juice box in lieu of an ice brick.  Those lunch bags are never terribly big and space is often at a premium.

I got my children insulated lunch bags with a plastic lunch box in from Howards.  At the time they were doing smallish ice blocks which fit perfectly into the bag with everything else but last time I went in there I didn't see them (you could ask and see if they're getting any more in).

Isetan and Takashimaya also do some things like that but they are usually more expensive.

Got my son's latest one in Tahashimaya (Colemans) but have seen very similar coolbags in several hardware shops all around town. If it doesn't come with an ice pack - they often don't - just buy one separately or freeze a juice carton if space is tight.

A PS - the coolbags at Carrefour are usually near the toys, bikes and camping stuff. Same at Takashimaya - they are on the 4th level with the sports goods, not in the basement with the kitchen stuff - not that the staff knew that!

the ones in the hardware stores are really expensive. I almost died when I saw the price, ridiculous for a kids lunch box. Carrefours is a much better bet.
I thought the ones at Spotlight were OK as my son has his snack box in it as well as his lunch, perhaps the ones I saw were different though.
