Congratulations Wishful!

In terms of what to do now, the answer is not much apart from wait it out! If it's your first do some reading up on dos and don'ts. Try to eat well and cut out any bad habits, eating or otherwise, that you have. Keep taking the vits and pray that you don't get really bad morning sickness!

Best of luck!

Congratulations Wishful - great news.

Hit those book shops and get yourself informed so you can actively manage your pregnancy.

You can now spend endless hours trawling through old "Which OBGYN should I use"  threads on expat singapore !!!!!

Have fun - you'll be fine.

Once again, thanks so much for all your kind wishes.
As I am obviously not telling people yet (apart from family!) it is good to hear advice from people.
Am gonna hit the bookshops this weekend and find a good guide.
Am still in a state of shock but feel very happy and smiley!
Hee hee!!!!!!

Buy 'The Pregnancy Book' by William and Martha Sears.

I've found this to be one of the best ones out of the bunch.  It seems to have more details than the others and covers a more in depth range of topics.

Can be found at your local Japanese mega bookshop on Orchard Road.

my ob-gyn told me that home pregnancy tests are more effective when used after the 10th day of conception.  if too soon, it might result in negative, so try again after a week or so.
