Formula

Breastfeeding at present, but always like to have formula available were it needed.

In UK we have Aptamil. Is that available here? If not , are any of them generally available?
DO babies really mind changing brand?

I don't think any of the usual UK brands are available here, at least not regularly and easily found. So it would probably be best to pick one that you can probably get a regular supply of, so that you don't need to worry about swapping over.
You  need to read the ingredients carefully as some brands here have a lot of sweetener (sucrose/glucose etc) or flavour added. My second child loved the Fernleaf brand I first put him on to (me thinking "its from NZ, bound to be suitable) only for me to realise months later that it had honey flavouring in it! I have since used Frisolac, which seems to be fine (bracing myself for some shocking list of Frisolac faults now!)
AS for fussiness between brands, probably depends on the baby - mine haven't cared one way or the other but I know some do. If so, might try mixing the old and the new, gradually increasing the proportion of the new until the changeover is complete.

Aptamil is not available here, we just came with a few (um quite a few) boxes till I got my son on to cows milk as he just turned one and was not into cows to start off with. I have 2 and a half unopened boxes of Aptamil forward if anyone wants them.
