My four year old son goes back to school next week and is desperate for a backpack with wheels.  As a working mom I  haven't focussed on this at all and now have just a couple of days to try to find one.  Has anyone got any suggestions on where to buy one?

Also, I wouldn't have thought they're the best thing to be bringing into school, but I assume they're what a four year old heart desires.  Any thoughts out there on suitability?

Hi Lilian,
Cold Storage have some bags with wheels on offer for 5.90 dollars.
They are plastic but seem fairly strong. I bought one yesterday to carry a load of shopping home and it was much easier than carrying the normal plastic bags. They come in a variety of colours also!
Maybe the local bag shops in the HDB estates will have what you are looking for or maybe try Mustaffas, was there today and was amazed at how much the place has changed in a few months.

Lilian, hope you managed to find a suitable school bag for your child, also think it would be good manners to acknowledge someone when they offer help.

Hmm.... My 6 years old daughter requested us to buy her the SPI bag because her friends have one. So we brought her to one big department store in Singapore, and I was shocked when I saw the price. S$99 for a school bag!

they said SPI is good for the back and blah blah blah... I've never used that kinda bag and my back is perfectly normal!
