I am interested in buying second hand books for toddlers ( story books or picture books etc ), ofcourse they should be in good condition. Where do I look for them ?
OR , does anyone know of any place where I can get new books for toddlers at extremely reasonable prices ?
WHSmith, Borders etc have great stuff but too pricey for something that will be torn apart !

There's a second hand baby shop in Tanglin Shopping Centre which has children's books.

Have you thought of looking at garage sales or perhaps even on the internet? there is this website called bookcloseouts and you can buy books at bargain prices. Postage isn't that bad either.

Otherwise try the second hand shop in Tanglin Shopping Centre

Have you thought about the local library?  My toddler and I go once a fortnight and take out 4 books which keep her entertained till our next trip when we can ring the changes.  She loves chosing which books she wants and it makes bedtime a bit less monotonous!

It's difficult to get second-hand children's books which are in good condition.

I'm a frequent online shopper and bought most of my children's books from this online bookstore www.littlebooknest.com.  Prices are definitely cheaper than Borders.  You can also check out www.acmabooks.com.

And you might wanna consider getting board books for your child if you're afraid that the books will be heavily 'abused'.

I found the Salvation Army warehouse on Serangoon road a great place to get good children's books at a dollar or two.
