Are there any Mothercare or Early Learning Centre stores in Singapore, or if not, what would be the equivalent?

Yes, there are Mothercare outlets here.  Centrepoint, Marina Square ... these are the 2 locations I can recall right now.

No, there are no ELC here but you can get Lamaze toys at most department stores e.g. Takashimaya and Robinsons.  Lamaze is created by the folks previously from ELC.

There are no ELC in Sing, but there are several Mothercare stores. There is one in Suntec, one in Centrepoint and I think, one other.
They sell the same stuff as in UK - but at a huge markup ! These are very expensive stores but do have some useful things.........like colder weather pyjamas/clothes for making home trips.
There are a few Toys R us which sell a good range of toys and baby kit, and a couple of other places, like mothers Work, BabyHypermarket etc.

If you want really cheap baby stuff, go to Chinatown (somewhere next to OG dept store), there're a few shops there which sell at very reasonable rates.  but not much on display.

otherwise can try Kiddy Palace or First Few Years .
