So basically you approve the suspension of Padilla's constitutional rights as an American citizen.
Wouldn't that mean that the US Constitution is not robust and could not stand all test?

If you want to hire someone you want him to have all these 3 qualities: Smart, Motivated and Ethical. If he lacks ethics, you really don't want him to be smart and motivated.

Did you even read the article? Of course I don't agree with the "suspension" of anyones rights. But by taking arms against America it went from a criminal act to an act of war, and the rules apply differently from then on.

so by taking arms against america, Padilla is no more a US Citizen, is that right? Cause the rule in the constitution, which is the fundamental rule to base other rules in the US, says that US Citizens has these set of rights he now does not have.
Technically speaking since it is the fundamental rule of the US, it should not be violated at all, even by a subordinate rule, should it?
Where in the consitution specifically said that in the case of Act of war, these rights can not be applied to the US Citizen?
