Recent reports and hype from Matthew Lee, Singapore Motor Sports Association, SMSA president have stir up speculation of possible potential venues to bring back Singapore Grand Prix motor racing in 1960s and 1970s.

MM Lee also also recently admitted that it was a stupid decision at that time for not bringing F1 to Singapore. So are we still not too late to ride on a Grand Prix waves if a suitable venue had been identified and we just need a "GREEN LIGHT" from our government just like the "project casino"?

The Singapore leg of the Asian Rally is held in the carpark of the national stadium for god sakes. So, same venue for F1?

Nope. this time round we may be looking at having it on public roads instead. Will this be a better idea?

Great Casino, F1 GP - then Singapore will certainly be a great city and maybe everyone will start falling over themselves having babies and making Singapore rich and prosperous for many more generations

As for Casino - I will pay a visit but generally I hate the things anyway - I went Genting once and that place totally blows

For those who are new to this place, Singapore used to have Grand Prixs at the Upper Thomson/Old Upper Thomson circuit.  Quite a thrill.  Stopped racing a few decades back.
