So this is soon unravelling into a Environment vs Genetic discussion upon how much one can "control" what their kids will be when they mature.

I admit - i do not have kids. One day - yes i would to have them. But i do believe that once you have kids - you NEED to devote some Quality time for them (env aspect).

Of course the genetics will always be there (they have your genes). So it's akin to a balancing act.......work, kids, sleep...(toilet)...

How good a balancer are U?

It doesn't matter whether a child grows inside you or you adopt-all your children grow in your heart. If your heart doesn't have room for children don't have them. Having lived life without and now with children I can honestly say life is more rewarding with them...for those that disagree and have never had kids, I guess you don't miss what you don't have-you simply will never know.

Nurture determines what a society will be.

Yes, nature definitely plays a part, but with careful, loving nurture (it's a science and an art) all children become better citizens and adults.

The problem is, you're often parenting against the culture these days.  Another lousy legacy of the 60s.  (Great music, though.)
