There are several schools of thought on that one. What is it that you want to know? It'd be easy to say a whole lot about the various interpretations in current existence, so why don't you say a little bit about your own beliefs and then we'll have more to talk with.

Didnt mean for this to be an intense topic.

It usually means that you've been thinking about that thing/person a lot.

My understanding was that while you are sleeping and relaxed your brain flicks through the things youve seen and done over that day (or so) and also stuff youve been thinking about. So it can be quite easy to draw connections to things in your dreams and daily life. But Im sure there are more eloquent or studied ways of explaining them

I sure hope dreams don't mean anything. I would not want to know what the dreams I've been having would mean. The other night I dreamt of death, violent murder etc. and I haven't even seen a horror movie in ages. And I don't really have any murderous intentions at the moment.
Aside from that, I do know that you can get books on how to interpret dreams.

Sometimes dreams are a reflection of what is going on in your sub concious. Dreaming that you are witnessing a death for example may just mean that you feel passionately about that person... blood=red=passion... Just a thought!

<Bee>

blood=red=passion? I'm not quite sure about that;-) I used to dream about my sister dying, but now I dream about a total stranger being killed. How can I have passion for a total stranger? Or could it mean I'm dreaming about a future partner?

<dreamy>

I know exactly what you mean. I've been in many deja vue situations. It's kind of weird the way you know exactly what's going to happen!
