kooky and KatyF - thanks for your kindness. Yeah ... I was so happy when I found those two websites, although I went rapidly overboard in the ordering department haha. Now I feel tempted to try the one that you mentioned kooky! It never ends sigh - what is it about perfumes and memory? They're such a potent combination.

bluemousemonkey - as TitleistSg says, perfume smells different on different people, but if you like more "masculine" (aftershavey!) scents you would probably like Cassini.

Only ever heard of one other person wearing it - Kim Basinger!  Now if only we had other things in common - looks, money...

OK kooky, I'l go and check out (as in buy)Cassini on your sayso - sounds good to me. Have you tried 'Miracle' by Lancome?It is supposed to have base notes of amber and jasmine, so would possibly be the deeper note you're looking for.

Lucky Plaza has many tiny stalls which sell sample size bottles of perfume and make up. I found Dune scented body lotion there.

Really?  Cool!  Is the Dune body lotion as small and as expensive as the normal cosmetic counters at the malls?

I wear "24, Faubourg" (Hermes) and Victoria's Secret (can't remember the name)after the shower. They are my favourite !!!

For men i like "Monsieur" (Lanvin), "Calvin" (Calvin Klein), "Cool Water" (Davidoff) and "Declaration" (Cartier). Also "Tsar" (Van Cleef&Arpels) and "Egoiste Platinum" (chanel)

and the list goes on and on .... !
