Well time to weigh in. At least some people have it right. Its not a race thing , it should be a love thing.

However my question to everyone is this. Do you think that foreign is beautiful? Now if the answer is yes, look deeper into your mind and see if your idea of "Foreign" equals "white". If that is the case then out and out you have racist tendencies, based on skin colour alone.

Crunch and several others on the thread are right. Never was my race a problem outside singapore. Only here do i feel alienated in my own country.

Singapore is small, confining and has its problems, but so does london, paris and new york. The cause of my alienation is not singapore, but the Singaporean, especially the Singaporean lass. If they realise that blokes are generally the same in any country and don't stereotype or glamourize the foreign expat, then i'd be pretty pleased.Unfortunately an asian man chatting to many at a bar is creepy, but a white guy trying to pull is attractive. Damnitt!!! the lines can't be all that different.

as for the expats here being the cream of the crop, give me a break!!! just because they were export quality doesn't mean a thing. look at how australia started. hyuk hyuk. (apologies to the diggers and shelias out there. i'm sure you didn't mean to steal my XXXX.)

BTW :I have loads of friends who have white BFs, and all have the blokes one similarity, they are nice fella's whom one would not introduce as being white.That is the ideal, when one no longer sees skin colour and cultural background as an obstacle. Likewise i'm extremely flattered that all my friends introduce me as me, not as some chinese bloke, whether i'm in london or singapore.

In my opinion,the average singapore lass should have her brain formatted for stereotypes. then perhaps we can look past race and start from an even playing field.

My parents immigrated from Italy to Canada when I was a toddler. I never went out with an Italian girl, and 75% of the women I went out with in Canada were from different races. (contrary to popular opinion, its much easier to pick up a girl of a different race in North America than Singapore --with far fewer social hassles)
Sometimes, I went out 'cos the girl was rich, sometimes she was hot looking, sometimes she offered a good time, sometimes I really loved her with all my heart and other times, I made love for sport. There were times she was the best I could get.
Yeah, people try to imitate the group they're trying to be accepted into -a phony SPGAmerican accent is no more noteworthy than an Elvis haircut, so why pick on the girls?
Yeah, sometimes I had a fascination with being with someone of a different skin color. Watching my former Chinese girlfriend's younger brother go through white girls like a grasscutter, I know I wasn't the only one.
One thing's for sure however. My reason for being with a woman is my business. Her reason for being with a rich man, poor man, white man, black man, fat man or sexy man is her business. Whether someone is with someone of a different race for good reasons, bad reasons,
* * its not really your business * *
If you're looking into other people's bedroom's, maybe you try to make your own life more fascinating.
This will not end the un-endable SPG thread but its about time someone said this -again.
You who are reading this are not a race, YOU ARE A UNIQUE PERSON, so stop judging relationships by skin color, please.
