Generalizing here, but it sounds like Western men more readily look to Asian women for potential relationships than Western women look to Asian men.  Is that so?  And if so, any thoughts on why?

Yes Alibert - rather pleasant isn't it?  The breeze just before the major heatwave in April methinks.

It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures

Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everything's okay and everything's going right
And life has a funny way of helping you out when
You think everything's gone wrong and everything blows up
In your face

It's Autumn in Melbourne and Spring back in the US!!!!

Is it only me or do the rest of you realise that it's hot, beautiful AND sunny on weekdays when we are stuck in the offices AND cloudy/rainy on weekends when we are NOT working ?

Tsk tsk....why oh why ??

If love is magic, how can 2 persons meet up and fall in love with each other then?  So I should say fate is magic instead of love.    You know what, these things could not be explained at all.  So fate will be the answer to your question 'why?'.

How can one get a tan properly if the only time the sun will come out is when you are at work?

Oh for a lovely, breezy, sunny day when you can have picnics and sangria!

Back to staring out the window at work then.

The weather is operated by the Singapore Government. Since they have to give us that huge one and a half day break at the end of the week, they put on bad weather to keep us at work.

Looks like I've tread upon a raw nerve.  I assure you my question was a matter of innocent bungling.  It seemed to me a logical one given that two threads are devoted to Western men dating Asian women.  (Both of which are still active, BTW.  See "This expat-locals dating thing" and "What's the deal with Singapore women.") I certainly did not intend to give offense.  My sincere apologies.

Glad to hear the weather's so nice.

Singapore in the evening - that's my favourite time of the day.  The evening sky, the sunset, and without the relentless heat.   Everytime I walk home from work, I fall in love with Singapore again.
