 It's pretty much like making couscous or rice. Boil 2 cups of water with one cup of quinoa (or any 2:1 ratio), turn down to simmer for about 10-15 minutes. fluff up with a fork.

While it's simmering, you could throw in some fruit or nuts, raisins etc to make a nice hot breakfast cereal or make it into a savoury pilaf by thowing in a bit of chopped onion, green orred pepper, carrot and herbs

Where did you find quinoa? I've been wanting to try this, but I haven't been able to find it. I've recently checked Tanglin Marketplace and Brown Rice Paradise, but no luck.

carrefour sells quinoa.  it's sold under their store brand in boxes for around $5.  i've always wanted to try cooking it, so maybe i'll give it a try soon.

I buy in the Organic shop at Tanglin Malla. I think it's called "Rice Paradise"
