The possibilities are endless!  My personal favorite is the french ham on real french baguette (the thin ones).  Look at Carrefour for the ham and try the bread from there, as well.  Spread with butter (not margerine, mayo, etc).  Can add the french cornichons (pickles) and thin sliced swiss cheese if you would like them.  The trick here is the right bread and the right ham.  I hope you receive many useful ideas; you are correct, Subway is not good.

it probably sounds a bit boring, but I quite like just a nice chicken and mayo sarnie, on good bread, but it has to have butter of course (no marg).

Even better is the Christmas favourite of turkey, mayo, stuffing and bread sauce, with a bit of salt and pepper...........delish

Toasted cheese with ketchup on the side

I've just created one and I must say, it tasted not  bad.

Spread chunky Salsa sauce on Indian chapatti.  Add sun dried tomatoes,  buttercress lettuce, toasted bacons and smoked pepper turkey, cheese, and sunflower seeds.

All the above stuffed you can get from the supermarket.  You only need to toast the bacons.

Roll it up like burritos and yummy!
