OK, to get back to the original topic.
My suggestion is that you serve a mix of foods from around the world. Some ideas for you
Fish/seafood
1. Prawns - Pick up a batch of big prawns from the wetmarket and simply BBQ as is. Serve with a number of different dips. eg lemon and melted butter with chopped parsley(gremolata) or a thai dipping sauce (lime juice, sugar, fish sauce, chopped birds eye chillis)
2. Char grilled red snapper - Red snapper is one of the best grilling fish as the flesh is so firm. either grill a whole fish (gut the fish and stuff cavity with coriander/basil etc) or cut the fillets into strips(skin on) baste with salt/pepper & olive oil and grill.
3. Stuffed squid - you can buy cleaned squid bodies and stuff them with chopped mushrooms/onions/peppers etc
Poultry
1. Buffalo wings - get some spicy marinated chicken drumlettes (do not take as long to cook as full thighs or wings)
2. Chicken kebabs - marinate in lemon juice/olive oil or in chilli sauce
Meat
1. BBQ marinated ribs from the butchers
2. lamb chops from market (no need to marinade simply grill as is and serve pink
3. Rib eye steaks marinted or straight up
4. indonesian Beef satay - marinade beef chunks in soy sauce, sugar, cumin, tumeric, coriander seeds etc
Vege
1. Corn on the cob - buy whole heads of corn and boil for 5 mins and then finish off on the BBQ. serve smothered in butter
2. stuffed portobello mushrooms - get some big flat mushrooms and destalk and stuff with goats cheese and garlic and chives and grill. baste with olice oil
3. cherry tomato and shallot kebabs - baste with balsamic vinegar and oilive oil and grill
There are so many options but these are some ideas. For your meat there is a butcher that i cannot mention that will serve your needs. Think mountainous European country
