Can anyone recommend places to stay in HCMC? Want somewhere clean, with character and close to sights.

Have read about Mui Ne. Sounds far less touristy than Nha Trang. Anyone been? Places to stay?

Hints/ tips about where to go/stay Mekong Delta. Are we better going on a tour from HCMC or doing it ourselves?

Finally - places to stay in Hoi An.

Thanks!!

Stay in HCMC not out and less touristy!! Travelling out can take hours!! I posted once before about my husband working 80 km from Saigon..this was 3.5 hours drive!!! Places to stay in HCMC..see other posts...try Mogambos or hotels like The Norfolk or The Asian Hotel. I think I left some contact numbers.

Thanks for that. Have looked back at previous posts - some useful info.

What about you other travellers out there? Would find it useful to have some pointers on Mekong Delta and Mui Ne.

Thanks - in anticipation.....
