Getting to Tioman

Can anyone advise me on the how to get to Tioman from Singapore.

I've read in a few places that you can get a coach from here to Mersing and then get the ferry over.  However, I've been unable to find the names of any coach/bus companies that do that.

Why don't you find out about flying over, much less hassle and much quicker.

Can't help you with the coach ride, as that was organised for us on a dive trip. We left Newton Cirus at 19:30 and arrived on Tioman at 03:30 - not very comfortable.
2nd time went by fast ferry from Tanamarah (sp) ferry terminal direct to Tioman in 4 hours - better, but the best must be as Tioman says, 45 minutes by plane - but everything has a price tag!

Is the air service running again, I know it wasn't a while back.  If so, does anyone know which airline does the route?
