We are planning a trip to New Zealand and I was hoping to receive some feedback regarding which size camper van to rent. I've read that the sleeping arrangements  in the 4 person camper van may not be big enough (since we will need to place baby's travel cot on the main bed).  Any information appreciated.

Call (or email) a couple of companies and get their opinions. You'll find customer service pretty good in NZ. They will happily answer questions like this and offer some alternatives.
