We're planning on going to Bintan Lagoon next weekend - can anyone tell me whether it's worth having the seaview room - is there a good view?  Or should we just stick with the regular room?

Cheers!

I have stayed at the Bintan Lagoon for a work conference.

I had a seaview room and my colleague has a normal room.

They were the same room, but yes I could see the ocean - not beach front...

I didn't spend much time in my room, so I wouldn't have minded where I stayed.

If it's alot of money I wouldn't bother...

Have fun!

I agree, i have stayed at Bintan Lagoon many times, the extra cost for seaview rooms is not really worth the limited view of the water.

Enjoy your stay - golf there is good, it also has a nice beach. Can recommend the Mediterranean restaurant there, it is quite good. There is also an excellent Thai restaurant over someplace by Mana Mana - worth the little extra time to get there.
