even though i feel safest flying lufthansa, i always kick myself at the end of each flight. service seems to be a foreign word to their cabin crew. and they are an eye sore. Roll Eyes

maybe your English was hard to understand?

if you spoke haltingly in English, replying "I'm sorry sir we have no apple on board" wouldn't be much use, but a rather direct  "no apple" would get the message across without confusion

How could no one say..... UA (United Airlines)?!?!?! They have the WORST service. You get those old bitty that stare at you when you struggle with something.... get the famous "not my job"... or how about the incredulous look when you ask for something. Sheesh! I haven't flown Quantas, but it sounds like the equivalent to UA from/in the US.

Qantas might have its faults, but United  would take the cake for the worst airline I've ever flown.  Although the African airplane with stuffed toilets would come close!

Qantas are the worst in both cattle and business!

The attitudes on the attendants are quite extraordinary.  The one time I flew business, I was *this close* to getting out of my seat, picking up the superior Barbie-Doll flight attendant, placing her in my chair and saying: "Right, I'll show you how it's done - watch and learn"... Damn my girlfriend for stopping me!

Enjoy Malaysia, Singapore, BA and Thai.
