Guys and Girls
I've been out here for over 2 months and have yet to find anybody really into sailing. I've sailed a lot of Laser 2 and a little bit of Laser 1. Also crewed on a 45ft Class O out of Howth in Ireland for 6 months or so. Can anybody help my plight and give me contact names and numbers of others who may also be interested in getting involved in sailing.

Even better - if any of you have a boat and want weekend crew look no further - I'm no Ian Hardshaw (whoever he is?) but otherwise I'm a believer.

Contact No. (W) 8900695 or (H) until 02/Nov/00 7314325 Email - shane_o_mahony@hotmail

Thanks

Shane, its probably worth while going out to Changi sailing club. I went out there last weekend, found out about hiring saling boats (Lasers, 420's, Cat's, J24's, Maxi 77's), costings, regulations etc..
If you want to be a crew member, go out there and talk to people - there is a large regatta coming up in December and crew members should be in demand. Unfortunately, foreign boat licenses are not accepted in Singapore - so if you want to hire a larger boat with an engine you'll need a Singaporean license.
Have a look at http://www.sailing.org.sg/
