Hi

We saw an advert for Sebana Cover Resort in Malaysia and it looked nice. Anyone stayed there? What do you think?

Yes, it's pretty good and relaxing. The disadvantage is that it is not near a beach. (it is built around a marina). For more reference www.expatriatetravel.com/sebana_cove.htm

We visited recently for the day. Did not see the rooms but the public areas were rather run down. The food was truly awful. A person we met on the marina (AFTER we had eaten)said none of the visiting boaters eat there as the food is terrible. Most of the people on the ferry were carrying golf bags so maybe that's the attraction. There is no beach and not much about the place that we found attractive.

Hi,
Been there recently with my friends who played golf. Eight of us booked two suites with two bedrooms each and it cost about $100 Sing each. The suites are located away from the main part of the resort and we have to wait like ten minutes each time for transport. If you are travelling alone or in twos and don't play golf, it might not be a good idea as there is nothing very much to do. A good thing about our trip is that we booked a small boat out to the sea (as mentioned in the previous post, it is located in a marina away from the sea) and went to a fishing farm along the way. The isn't great and we (who don't play golf)spent most of our time playing pool, drinking, reading and suntanning at the roof garden. Hope it helps
