We are seeking 3 days in Phuket for a "go for it" weekend.  Price is not an issue...where would you recommend for a hotel.  First time there and taking the golf clubs.

Could try a villa at the Sheraton Grande Laguna in Phuket.  It's part of the same complex as the Banyan Tree.  There's info on the Sheraton website about it....

Would agree with the recommendation of the Banyan Tree.  Get a private villa with pool, sheer bliss .....
