Sonkran!!

Just got back.  I think its one of the best things I've even been to.  Never seen so much smiling and laughing in my entire life.  Are Thais always so fun loving and crazy??

It is the world's biggest waterfight so you must be prepared to get wet.  Not to mention the floury stuff everyone wants to rub on your cheeks...

Bangkok ROCKS!

Actually just thought of recommending where I stayed.  Lovely people, cheap new clean rooms and only a walk from the red light district (its on Convent Rd).  Double room from 600 baht (~S$30)

dont worry for nothing, i travel to Bangkok
alone last November. I little female with nothing experiend about travel alone, but i still safe and ok.

I stay in youth hostel, just for sg 10 for single. (but you must be a member (www.statravel.com).

Just carefull with tuk-tuk, never go to place tuk-tuk offer to u about cheaper gem, cloth or anything.

Take a walk and never go out in the night if you alone , unless u know where you go. and never take anything from someone you dont know.

If your face like Asean, just dont say anything for any word, sometime u can get price for local. That happend to me :-)).

Well, have a nice trip, and if you go as backpacker" be a real backpacker:-)).

cheers.
