On the 14th. of this month I replied to one of the forum posters about a real nice place to stay in Lombok, but cannot seem to find the post; However I found that the 'Pool Villa Club' was a real good place , I think its far more reasonable. Silk Air flies there I think 4 times a week!

This villa club has out of the ordinary furnished units are large , real clean, full music system(Bose) TV Vcd players ( with discs, beautiful sitouts ,peaceful and far from the madding crowds! Their service is just great. Food is very good , all in all very good value for money. The sunken bar in the pool, private S.pool etc. For more info email me -

Well just found the post I referred to!
Please do not think I have any personal interest , I just like to help people.
After all we all are away from home a community spirit can be maintained through therse forums.

If you really want to enjoy a good holiday you should go to Lombok (Indonesia), it is close to Bali but not as crowded/commercialized and also the place to stay is called 'Pool Villa Club'.
This place besides being untrampled by the common tourists, have separate little units, very well furnished that have a full sitting, dinning room& spare toilet,at lower level opening onto the private S. P.& deck.
Also TV, VCD, and a Bose music system ! they have music, audio & VCd's ( limited variety) . Upper level has a large bedroom, with a good sized dressing room, a large separate shower, separate bathrum and a toilet. A full sitout as well.
The swimming pool is beautifully comstructed so that you have your own private S. Pool,
A good selection of various dinning restaurants all within this huge place. The Ocean view is exhilarating!
the service is GOOD, friendly staff, breakfast (full)Buffet included in room price.

Room Service also available.
I liked the pool -sunken bar they have, a cute idea!
Was there just a week and a half ago.
If you need more info. let me know.

The one we were in had a huge King sized bed! But I think arrangements can be made to accomodate children, you got to telephone and find out.
They may be having units with 2/3 bedrooms too. They also have the normal hotel building a bit away from the villas but within the area. It belongs to Garuda Airlines and is called Senggigi.

I have the email add.

Senggigi@lombokisland.com

I think I should now ask them for a commission!!!!!!!.

Have fun folks, it's a pleasure to see others enjoy
