KL worth going to

KL seems pretty close - about 4 hour drive. Is it a worthwhile place to visit for a weekend - outside of next week's holiday of course?

yep, you should give it a go. lived there for 2yrs and kl is a good place to visit and enjoy.  plenty of different food and shopping opportunities which can make sg look expensive except for electronics though.

however traffic and the way of driving in KL is at best chaotic.

Have to agree with above posters, KL well worth the visit.

Don't expect street maps to help navigate city though - driving is well, fun!!!!!  Definitely not for the faint hearted!
