Just wondering what sort of information do they require before approving your PR.  Knowing this place they will need everything including in side leg measurements

Jeni, I was on EP for about 1.5 years. I was just too busy at work to apply, kept delaying. Should have done it earlier.

Wonderin, along with the application form, I had to show original Degrees. Later they requested Profit & Loss statements of the company I worked for (since I have options).
However, I saw some people go in with a whole pile of stuff like transcipts and letters of reference etc. So I think it may depend on the country you're from and education level.

Another question. Do you have to be on a local employment package to apply for a PR or can EXPATs also apply? My company is going through a tough time right now. Don't think I will be let go, but if I did I am not real excited about only having 2 weeks to exit the country.

"Maybe", I don't think it matters. I'm on local but to immigration, they see you as P1 or P2, not local or expat package.

My company had to declare how long I've been working at the company and my salary. That's it, as I recall. Everything else was on my own credentials.

As long as you don't mind the kidney thing, I say go for it.

q about this kindey thing

what happens if i relocated to other country and (touch wood) pass away there ?

hhhmm, is this also mean that PR is permanent, as in forever and ever

somebody told me that to keep this PR, you have to stay in sg at least 80% of the time
or something
