no problem in securing part time work on a dp pass, you will have to sign a letter of consent from the company employing you, but you are only allowed more than one letter of consent. there is a career advisory centre run by the american association at the american club, you have to join the association and pay for the career advisory service - then arrange a meeting with them and they will give you advice etc and will e-mail you when new jobs come in. The companies using their service are looking for DP holders and range from full to part time - good luck! I saw them 2 weeks ago and already have interviews lined up for part-time work.

Hi Tatjana

As I understand from your post, you perhaps need a part time job to kill the time and not as a need or necessity in general. I would like you to take a non conventional approach to this. The basic idea I understand is to keep yourself busy and earn money, why don't you think of doing something that will best utilise your overall management/professional/personal skills and also njoy a cool lifestyle and family life.
I have couple of offers for you and the best part about this is you do not have to go to any work place as such. You can work from your own home and at whatever time you feel free.

Interesting??? Mail me @ work4all@catcha.com

The American Association's Career Centre is good - I got my job through it.

There seems to be a number of small-ish expat companies looking for p/t people.  I haven't seen many local companies wanting part timers (but I may be wrong)

What type of work are you interested in?  You never know, if you post some more details, someone may have some ideas for you.
