Mid-Mgmt position offered.

I've just been offered a mid-mgmt position with a local company at S$15k per month. Is this a realistic/reasonable salary (it's approx half my salary in my home country).

If you're making approx. SGD30K/month (US$17K/month) in your home country in a mid-management position, you should stay there.
That's what regional director/VP types might expect to make here.  I think you can do better where you are.  However, if you are set on moving to Singapore, suffice it to say you would be quite comfortable on 15K/month.

I take it that the $$15K you are referring to is your nett salary per month?
Not inclusive of housing, schooling, transport etc.,???

If you're bored at home doing the usual routine and would like to experience a different culture, Singapore is a good place to be.  Just make sure you have calculated all areas of expense before giving in your notice!

Other than that, overseas experience on your CV ought to be beneficial....(so my hubby says!)
